For our first one we’re going to talk about our logo while congratulating Marco Cecchinato on an improbable and amazing Roland Garros run! The Italian had never won a grand slam match before. That being said he has been ranked in the top 100 for a while so it is no surprise to see him win some matches. To make it to the semis and to beat the 10thand 8th seed and then Djokovic in 4 thrilling sets is something else! Good work Marco!
The picture above is a perfect image of our logo, I couldn’t believe it when I saw it on the ATP website, I did a double take. We chose the logo because we feel it shows some of the style and class of tennis and is more exciting than just a ball or racket etc. For my birthday last year my girlfriend got me a piece of art featuring three artistic stick figures playing tennis (serving, forehand and backhand volley). The serving one has been used too much, the forehand is pretty impressive and inspires power and strength but I wanted something with more finesse and I thought of Wimbledon, serving and volleying, elegance, touch, etc. and it resonated with our goals as a company to provide top service in high end destinations. So we contacted local artist Xula to commission another one for us and we love it! I was insistent on the proper form and Marco (with the help of a great photographer) has shown we’re onto something!
